La domanda che ci siamo posti un pò tutti, al termine del Keynote, è che autonomia avesse il MacBook Pro. Non sono stati diramati dati ufficiali da Apple, siccome il modello presentato durante l’evento è una sorta di protitipo, quindi un prodotto non definitivo.
A sciogliere i dubbi ci pensa lo stesso Steve Jobs durante un’intervista rilasciata a NewsWeek, in cui afferma che l’autonomia dovrebbe essere pressocchè invariata dal modello G4, nonostante il processore sia Dual Core e performante quanto un G5.
“About the same – this with a dual processor [chip]! Each processor is as fast as a G5, and the battery life will be the same as [the previous PowerBook?s] G4.”
